FREE: TRY ROWING ON JUNE 2, 2012

Come one, Come all.

Here is a chance to try out the sport of rowing. We will have our boats ready and waiting down at our dock:

Saturday, June 2 from 9 am to 12:00 pm,

Tudhope Park: look for our name on the boathouse

We will also be accepting registration that morning. You can download and bring your registration forms and waivers

Registration forms and waivers can still be mailed in with a cheque.

About regattas…

Masters Doubles RaceChampionship races are rowed over 2,000 metres in six lanes, which are straight and buoyed.  Masters (ages 23 and up) race a distance of 1,000 metres.
Head races are typically raced on a river route. The distances vary, but are usually about 3.5 to 5 km.
